International wireless industry specialist set to become a major new employer in Boise

Offering support services on behalf of the wireless industry, WDSGlobal opens new facility. Up to 600 new jobs to be created in 2008.

Kirkland (WA): 15th January 2008: WDSGlobal , the wireless industry’s leading provider of lifecycle management and support solutions, has continued its expansion with the opening of a new facility in Boise, Idaho.

The company is already one of the largest private sector employers in Kirkland (WA), where it offers call center and support services on behalf of its wireless carrier, handset manufacturer and content provider customers. The new 65,000 square foot facility in Boise will offer space for up to 1000 call center agents, allowing the company to service the growing requirement across the wireless industry for specialist support services.

“Wireless technologies are becoming increasingly sophisticated, allowing end-users to communicate, be entertained and work on the move. However, this is also accompanied by a rise in complexity as many users try and connect to the latest services or get the most out of their new cell phone,” explains Steve Nasca, General Manager (Americas) for WDSGlobal . “Working on behalf of some of the biggest names in the wireless industry, our job is to ensure that end-users stay connected and can benefit from the latest technologies.”

“With some of the most specialist support agents in the industry, we have looked long and hard to find a location for our expansion. Boise is a natural fit, offering a skilled base of employees that will compliment our commitment to expertise perfectly,” continues Nasca. Hoping to attract 600 employees to its Boise site by the end of the year, WDSGlobal plans to be a real presence in the community and become an ‘employer of choice’. There is also special interest in building partnerships with the Latino community to attract bi-lingual Spanish/English speakers to serve the international market. Current employment opportunities can be found by visiting www.wdsglobal.com.

Globally the company already employees over 1000 workers with additional offices in South Africa, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and the UK, where for two years running it has been named as one of the fastest growing, privately owned technology companies. The Boise site, located in North Kimball Place, is scheduled to be operational in February 2008. The property manager is DDRS. Based in Boise, Idaho, DDRS is a full-service commercial real estate company. Its primary focus is property acquisitions, due diligence, and property management.
