10th May 2005

MIDDLE EASTERN MOBILE OPERATORS AND MANUFACTURERS STAND TO REDUCE CUSTOMER SUPPORT VOLUMES BY 45%.

WDSGlobal, providers of a specialist Service Framework to the wireless data industry, today announced the expansion of EMEA operations with the opening of a new office in Dubai, UAE. The new UAE offices will provide sales and support services to mobile Operators and Manufacturers operating within the Middle East region.

“The Dubai office provides an essential hub through which WDSGlobal can develop local market business in the region, while providing focussed localised support to clients and partners” said David Ffoulkes Jones, CEO, WDSGlobal.

"The new office will help to complete the WDSGlobal worldwide operational footprint, with locally recruited staff applying specialist market knowledge to the appropriate delivery of services in an effective and timely manner"

The WDSGlobal UAE office signifies the regional roll-out of market leading knowledge based services that are already in widespread use throughout Europe, North America, Asia and South Africa. The specialist services and content available through the WDSGlobal Service Framework - including Support, Testing, Training and Self-serve portals - promise to assist Operators and Manufacturers with the launch of complex mobile devices and services.

Once implemented, the WDSGlobal Service Framework can drive down the operational costs of launching a new device or service, with support volumes being reduced by 45% and subsequent service adoption increases of 15%.
