Established in 1995, WDSGlobal is considered to be a pioneer in the field of specialist data service support for the mobile industry.

Throughout the 1990s WDSGlobal rapidly developed a reputation as the partner of choice for Tier 1 manufacturers and operators looking to outsource data support services; with a specific focus on handling complex customer queries relating to the set-up, usage and troubleshooting of mobile devices and services.
Beyond the provision of customer support, WDSGlobal quickly grew its service portfolio to include a range of complimentary services, each engineered to support the market with the promotion, adoption, uptake and usage of mobile data services.
These services – originally referred to as the WDSGlobal Service Framework – focused on applying specialist knowledge and services to manage the support of the end-customer in a cost effective way, while at the same time increasing the revenue potential of each mobile subscription. This included one of the industry’s first examples of an OTA configuration platform.
Today, the original Service Framework has evolved to become four distinct lines of business, all centered around GlobalMine™ - the industry’s most comprehensive expert systems and knowledge base and the culmination of more than a decade’s worth of experience.
Our vision has remained unchanged over the years. We strive to ensure that the mobile industry can launch revenue-generating new devices and services in a timely fashion, without incurring a backlash in operational support costs. This can only be achieved through refinement of the user experience, a vision which will ultimately enable consumers to embrace sophisticated mobile applications unhampered by underlying technicalities or convoluted usability.
WDSGlobal continues to enjoy its industry position as ‘Knowledge Experts’, participating in several key industry bodies and standards committees to help shape the future of the industry and protect the user experience. Today, the company employs over 1000 staff, operating from international offices spanning a total of five continents worldwide. This global footprint is critical for the company to collect, validate and share the global knowledge that underpins our very business.
